Some exciting news
Anyone for a swim in our new pool?
I never thought we would do it but we have bought our own little piece of Australia sight unseen all the way from Singapore. We have been looking for a while and had our minds set on North Balgowlah and the surrounding suburbs. This little gem came up for auction yesterday and WE GOT IT!
We sent my Dad along and he did a great job in slaying the competition. He wore a hat - which is very unusual for him since it was overcast and raining - maybe to disguise himself? I have no idea.
After some stern negotiation with the vendors we got what we think is a fair price for something that suits us perfectly. Good location not too far from the city and my work, also only a few minutes to the beach! It backs onto a reserve so is perfect for the ever active Dominator!
Sad news is we are not coming home just yet and will be renting it out while we are up here. But it has given us something to look forward to on our return in a few years.
All very exciting and TF already wanting to change the garden and the stair rails!
